Solution:
As of May, 2019; IEC/EN 61331-1:2014 broad beam (BBG) testing and
certification went into effect in Europe. This regulation addresses many of
the problems with previous test standards. Most of the current non-lead
aprons fail this test. Only the latest bi-layer non-lead designs are able pass.
RadPro’s bi-layer material has passed IEC/EN 61331-1:2014 BBG and has
notified body certification.
